As you know, in your time as a councillor in Amsterdam, you promised me to discuss this issue further if you were a member of parliament. In the run-up to the motion aimed at dissolving the Hendriks commission and setting up a new independent commission, we were in contact, where you promised a personal conversation together with Mirjam Bikker, portfolio holder for Justice for the Christian Union. This promise of a conversation is still there, see our whatsapp communication. Now, after the Hendriks committee report, is a crucial moment to get you properly informed. A group of 20 practitioners, many of them from the CU constituency, urgently ask your attention for this. What is a creed still worth if heinous violation of children is not a top priority in Christian politics? I therefore look forward to the conversation and await the invitation to do so.
