The report brought what could be expected of a non-independent commission. The sting causing the sorry outcome is the commission's lack of independence. In a Zoom conversation earlier, we had discussed that no report could be expected from this committee that would make sense. That is why I had asked you to object to the approach adopted by the minister and stand firm for truly independent investigations.
Now that the committee has delivered its report, I am eager to hear your substantive response to the treatment group's probing, reasoned plea for an independent second opinion. In our view, if done properly, this can provide a wealth of information. This information, among other things, is essential to find a path for legal action when authority figures/officials in the upper echelons are accused of organised sadistic abuse of children. A case that touches God's heart. After all, God's passion for justice for those who are trampled and exploited is palpable on almost every page of the Bible.
I am therefore very curious to hear your substantive response to the practitioners' group's plea for an independent second opinion. What are you betting on when discussing the report?

Another year and a half ago, we had a Zoom meeting, in which I asked you to take the initiative to set up a truly independent commission to investigate organised sadistic child abuse by means of a motion. You indicated then that you expected the initiative in this from the movers of the original motion. Meanwhile, the non-independent Hendriks Commission has issued a very disappointing report, see the e-mail below and the attached letter from the group of 20 mental health care practitioners. We would urge you to take the initiative for truly independent research this time. What is a religious conviction still worth if heinous violation of children is not a top priority in Christian politics? I urge you to follow up.
